Habbo 'Retros' Should they?

I'm aware what the obvious answer will be to this question, as I'm posting it on a Habbo Fansite. However, I believe they have spoiled and destroyed what Habbo used to be.

Retros haven't really affected Habbo as a whole.

It had LOADS of people on-line at a time and consisted of a very large dedicated community, where everyone was equal. Now I visit Habbo and see the users have dropped tremendously and it's disappointing.

Everyone was equal? Not since the '04 (?) days when HC was introduced.

It's also disappointing to know that there are SO many 'Retros' out there that are taking users and making them there own, It's also disappointing how 'Retros' are copyright of Habbo Imaging and they're getting away with it all and making money off the side.

There aren't that many retros which actually turn a profit, you have to remember they need to undercut Habbo to get users and running costs per user for technical stuff will actually be higher since they are running small instances of the server.

In my honest and truthful opinion, I feel that if 'Retros' were to be shut down and KEPT shut for the remaining time of Habbo, the users would increase rapidly. I understand that shutting down over 200 'Retros' would take time, effort and a lot of money and I feel it's a lot of effort. But, If Habbo wants to be as great as it was and mainatain the best, action should be taken!

Sulake have plenty more worthwhile business decisions they can make.

I don't think Retros 'spoiled and destroyed' Habbo, I think Habbo did that itself with it's latest ridiculous pricing strategies...

In all fairness, it has done quite well for itself on the furniture side of things, compared to when it was stuck in its rut of constantly releasing recoloured furniture, in my opinion, that's why a lot of people decided to leave Habbo,

And I don't think if all retros were shut down, they would just return to normal Habbo, I think those who dedicate a lot of time to play on retros wouldn't just return like that, if at all...

They're good for trying out new room ideas for people like me who are not rich enough to want to take chances, but overall I'm against them. Mainly because of how the online users on my hotel (habbo.se) has dropped.
For your hotel it might just be a small percentage, but not for us.
Just look at this:
Users currently online at habbo.se : 585
Users currently online at the largest all-swedish retro: 1324
It's getting really empty...
