You're missing the point he's trying to make. By adding he's the oldest member of the forum it would make your idea of it not being possible what so ever as wrong as it can get sure it may not work for you, but that doesn't mean you act on behalf as the rest of the people in the world :S

I'm friends with pretty much all my ex's, one of which I'm actually moving into a flat with in September. I don't mind it, sure its a bit touchy at first but yeah its possible. One of my ex's in particular, its nobody off the forum before people jump to conclusions, like we went out years and years ago and even to this day we're like really close friends.

Did you forget that you wrote "especially as you get older" or something

And that's not an opinion so "IMO" doesn't really work here. An opinion is something that can be contested one way or another and tends to be subjective. What you've done is just say a lie, as is proved (note: proof makes something a reality and you cannot have an opinion against proof) by the fact that I and many others are quite capable of this magical feat.

At my age you have to because you see them every day at school anyway so I guess you kinda have to even if you don't want to.

It normally takes me a while to start talking to them again because its really awkward. One of them is like one of my best friends though

I thought you meant you'd been on the forum the longest, read it all wrong. Ok, I stand corrected. Didn't you do well

You definitely can, but I think it depends on the person. Me for example, I find it hard now to stay friends with an ex it's just extremely awkward, yet a couple of years ago I wouldn't of minded... I guess it's something that's happened to me as I got older - but it really does depend on the two people.

Doesn't really matter, just depends on the reason you's broke up.

It would depend how hurt I was and how they would react. Might be awkward. Or they might try get back with you when you don't want it.
