Yes, but those much cheaper alternatives are most likely illegal - credit trading aside, of course. I would much rather ensure Sulake is able to continue with Habbo than line an unscrupulous person's pocket.

I would never say it is stupid because you have to start somewhere I guess. Personally I really dislike doing so myself because the price has increased a lot since I first joined and it just doesn't seem worth it. Also I managed to just work my way up and now I am at a stage where I can make credits with not much difficulty via betting, merchandising etc.

I don't think it's silly, if someone wishes to buy credits then they can do so it's their choice.
Although I wouldn't give a penny to Sulake myself and never have, just do simple tasks such as profiting with furniture, betting and whatever other methods there are.![]()
Search Varnius for Habbo's Official Trading Room.
I havent bought credits in ages, they are way too expensive in my opinion. I understand why newer habbos may buy creds but not more experienced habbos
People who spend money on Habbo are losers
I think, since the game is free to play, there's no harm in buying about £1.50-£5 worth of coins every now and again to buy VIP or furni or whatever, but spending too much money on Habbo (tens/hundreds) is stupid and could be a sign of a harmful addiction. It's bad enough to be addicted enough to zap away all your time, but it's another to have it zapping away your pocket too, especially if you can barely afford it, like if you have no job or something or you're still at school and using your parents money.
I think you can adequately have a good experience without ever getting a single credit, though. I rarely ever have credits.
