You can avoid the filter in Feedback I believe if you have a good reason to do so.

Either one way or another, I'm not fussed. Personally I feel that the filter should be optional (It probably already is and I'm just slow).

And Habbox used to be a lot stricter on swearing back then, you'd get infractioned for saying gt*o, and you'd get infracted for actually filtering the word yourself (f*** instead of ****)

You're allowed to avoid the filter in feedback if the thread is on the filter.

The filter on the forum isn't optional and won't be anytime soon that I know of.

But lots of words can be used towards people in a "rude manner". I can say "Gtho" or "Utter crap" and that classes as "of a rude manner". So I don't see why the other example is blocked really, by that logic you'd have to block all remotely rude words that can be directed at people. Also, the large majority of people I speak to say it in a 'jokey' tone.

Come on, how often is gtho used? Utter crap can't be directed at someone and is completely different from ****. But yes I do agree, most people use it as a joke but unfortunately it has to stay filtered because some people don't use it that way.
