    Default Filtering.

Right. Can I ask, as to why.. hmm.

    1) ** (Bull ****) is filtered as an acronym.
    2) **** (Get the **** out) is filtered as an acronym.

I can understand the second one over the first, but tbqh. If users can say "ffs", "omfg", "tbf" et al, why aren't those allowed either. I really don't see an issue with them considering they're acronyms alone. The only acronym that I believe should be filtered is the one for "**** off".

It just seems a bit pointless really.

I remember years back, Habbox infracted you for using acronyms. I do agree with you, if some acronyms are filtered, all acronyms should be.

The reason is I believe is when you say get the **** out you are directing it at someone whereas ffs, tbf and omfg aren't.

You could easily use ffs and omfg towards people.

Surely if this is the case, swearing should be allowed if it's not directed at people?

I'm arguing the reverse, if the majority aren't then nearly all shouldn't be (excluding the one I mentioned) . Unless you were simply providing an example and meant "and vice versa" as well aha.

Really, an infraction? Jeez. Glad I wasn't around back then.

Majority of people I know use it as to be urm. Yeah, rude word beginning with f haha. Even though "to be fair" does make a lot more sense.

Nice to see you back around Bethany anyhow.

I remember I said 'OMFFG' once and got warned, not an infraction but warned a couple of years ago. I'm not sure though.

Either one way or another, I'm not fussed. Personally I feel that the filter should be optional (It probably already is and I'm just slow).

And Habbox used to be a lot stricter on swearing back then, you'd get infractioned for saying gt*o, and you'd get infracted for actually filtering the word yourself (f*** instead of ****)

(Lets see if I get warned/infracted for this post)...
