graphics applications have actually been open since i became manager, i just forgot to keep updating the thread so decided to create a new one. i guess i've just been using it for extra advertisement and to remind people that there are still jobs available.

the only idea i can suggest is perhaps having the announcement stickied to save it from dying after a while?

In a sense Content applications are always open, if you want a job in the department working on the Wiki the easiest way is to do stuff on the wiki without being in the department, if you're found to be doing lots of helpful stuff you'll find a PM offering a trial arrive fairly swiftly.

Currently we're not seriously working on Habbox.com stuff and we have internal plans as to when we need more staff and why so essentially there's no point having formal applications open for that since we don't really need many people for it.

I remember doing this for news and I eventually had about 13 in the department which is too much to say they need two reports per week but it did work for a few months so in some cases I agree.
