I'm upgrading my Laptop and Desktop to Windows 8, whilst some people have their disagreements with the UI, the performance boosts in places such as boot up times are too awesome to ignore.

Totally agree but are both of yours touchscreen, mine aren't. I hard that consumer preview had few issues with scroll bar but I think those are fixed. Upgrading both laptop and PC.

No I'm not. I haven't found any benefits from using it over 7.

Doesn't make it better I just found metro a pain to use and don't really have any need for it.

When I downloaded parallels desktop for my imac, I downloaded windows 8 as well.
I must say I didn't like it that much. First, I didn't see anything I could do with it that I couldn't with windows 7, and second the reason I downloaded it was to use SAM broadcaster, and it doesn't work in windows 8!

I don't have a touch screen, I have it installed on my other hard drive anyway and yeah I'll probably switch over to it sooner or later in terms of your other post.
