Are you upgrading Matt?Next week Windows 8 will be released to the public and you can pre-order a copy now. I was wondering how many people are going to upgrade to it?

No I'm not. I haven't found any benefits from using it over 7.

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
I had 8 RTM, Ended up installing the Shell Menu thingy and then I never used Metro, so it was basically 7, I switched back to 7 a few nights ago.
But it's got the desktop so what's all the worrying about? It's new and has this amazing tiling system.
When I downloaded parallels desktop for my imac, I downloaded windows 8 as well.
I must say I didn't like it that much. First, I didn't see anything I could do with it that I couldn't with windows 7, and second the reason I downloaded it was to use SAM broadcaster, and it doesn't work in windows 8!
I don't have a touch screen, I have it installed on my other hard drive anyway and yeah I'll probably switch over to it sooner or later in terms of your other post.
