friend zoning = a nicer way of someone saying they've been *REMOVED*. urgh.
Despite that, it really depends on how you handle rejection. I don't really see how someone saying no thanks to taking it to the next level means you still can't be friends but I know some people get really hurt and the friendship shatters as well.

I think putting someone in the friendzone is something people do to avoid real feelings and not having to explain and tell the why's and what's of their relationship.
or because they don't have feelings and don't have to explain why they don't have real feelings for another person and want to remain in a friendship with the person but don't want to be in a relationship with someone they don't have feelings for, and results in the person on the other end saying they've been friend zoned when in reality the other person just doesn't have the same feelings for the person.
I can't say I believe in the friend zone, at all. You either like someone or you don't.
friendzone exists whether u like it or not
being friends with some1 = friendzone duh!!!!!
by that logic you've friendzoned everyone you've been in a friendship with then.
if you go from friends to relationship then they temporarily/permanently moved from friendzone to relationzone then either disappear or back to friendzone ok
well yes cos u have transitioned from the will we/wont we stage of ur getting to know this person to friend zone them
what if you're friends with your mum!
anyway
Unless you have a different relationship with your Mum then it doesn't work. A friend zone is a zone that happens when someone wants something more from another person but the other person just wants to be friends. It makes perfect sense to me.
