Late response but just to confirm that what @Lewis; said is true, @MrBagheera; posted previously saying that the room layouts themselves will not cause the rooms to lock when the BC subscription expires :

Habbo is full of stupid and annoying things. But no, in this case rooms will not lock. :-)
