i either cut the conversation short, as i dont know what to say, orrrr I speak way too much about random **** no-one cares about.

I just naturally avoid eye contact cos I've always had this thing where I can read faces really well (or maybe I'm actually really rubbish and making it up) but people think I'm not interested in what they're saying. Conversation killer lol

That or I'm the guy who sits in the corner at parties tapping their foot along with the music.

Only thing I can think of really is, since I don't find silences awkward, I sometimes sit there thinking "oh it's quiet am I meant to say something?" because I can tell that they feel awkward but I have no idea what to say so we're both just sat there looking at each other like err lmao

them: "Have a nice time on holiday"
me: "thanks, you too"

this happens too much

i always do that or even if i ask someone how are they and they don't ask me how i am ill go "yeah im great too thanks" without even realising. it's just one of those natural conversation things.

Happend to me the other day and somebody asked if i was fine and i said ye
then realised i should have asked them how they were too so i asked them but then they told me their whole day
like they only asked me how i am so i could ask them
