[HxL] Age Restriction on New DJs

I play on Garry's Mod servers where you are required to be at least 15 to use the in-game voice chat system. It works in keeping "squeakers" off the microphone, but it has no effect whatsoever on the levels of maturity of the players on/off the mic.
Is part of what you want to complain about the fact that younger DJs typically have higher, squeakier voices? I could understand you trying to feign another complaint about young DJs because you secretly get sick of their voices

And thank you @Calum0812; for pointing out DJs on a teen game should also allowed to be teens themselves. That's probably the best (and most obvious) reason that this idea is a little meh

Ngl its a bit of a silly rule.

Maybe cutting the age tp 13 pr 12 or w.e may be better as thats the age you're allowed to be to actually play habbo.

As Calum said, Gina, Himself and I are only teens ourselves, and there are a few DJs of the age of around 13 or 14 that are very good DJs.

Everyones a little immature sometimes, its a game for teens+ that we all play on.

People will lie about their ages! We already have many members in the community who lie about genders/ages already but this would just make Habbox more of a riotting fansite then it already is. I say we lock this topic and forget it ever happened!
This will just cause more problems and complications. I will be very disappointed if this suggestion is taken through with because it's just not good enough to be an official rule. Age restrictions are awful and nobody will be able to DJ because most of our members are 13/14/15 and most of them are mature; just keep away from the immature ones and that creates a strong and good fansite. Personally our DJ's right now they're good I'm happy with them you know they're not really bad.

When I was AGM, I always thought the best way to attract younger users to Habbox would be via HxL. We shouldn't be restricting younger users, should be welcoming them

There is literally no call to implement this. The example you give is that someone was harassed and did nothing about it, and you somehow come to the conclusion that youth is the problematic factor in that rather than someone not going through the proper channels and sorting out what needed to be sorted out. I'm sure there are spats and feuds between DJs but it's a huge department so obviously not everyone is going to get along, and it doesn't seem to be affecting performance anyway

totally disagree!! of course there are some immature 14 and younger djs but like gina, there are plenty that act mature and in the same way. it would be unfair to categorise all of the younger djs just because you don't like how SOME of them act.
there should not be an age limit because if that happens, you're basically saying that all younger djs act immature, disallowing the maturer section of young people from wanting to become djs
