even so Both Naruto and Bleach have had to put up with LOOOOONG periods of fillers. i know a certain series that didnt.

All that's saying is the manga was way ahead when the anime was first created, doesn't make the series better.

Don't both Dragon Ball Z and One Piece have loads of fillers anyway? Wasn't that one of the reasons for doing Kai - to cut out all of the useless stuff and to be more coherent with the manga.

Both Naruto and OP anime's started 2 years after the Manga with Bleach starting after 3. Nothing about when they where created some companys just pace episodes better.

Dno top of my head.. mayb OP has about like 50 eps? but there all small arcs or 1 of episodes after big cannon arcs dont have to sit around waiting for 2 years for them to end. + Oda does cover storys and Toei animates them sometimes instead of doing filler so you get Canon/Filler.

And DBZ didnt really have Alot of filler. Garlic Jr, Fake Namek, Driving lessons, Other world Tourney. Was just the pacing of the episodes where a bit crap. Hence why you had powerups taking 1 episode and Genki damas taking 3-5 eps to get enough energy.

All that kai is doing is butchering the series. in concept its a great idea but there pulling of a shoddy job. with edits looking like they were done in paint.

Tite Kubo co-wrote the latest filler in Bleach which was supposedly as good as the canon story, and to be honest any filler arc that lasts longer than a month is a lot. Yeah, it was annoying that Dragon Ball Z prolonged pretty much everything. The entire story could have been finished in a significantly less amount of episodes than it did if they didn't stretch everything out. I think its rather silly to condemn Naruto and Bleach for their fillers while One Piece and Dragon Ball Z are just the same.

God damn, I can't believe Eclipse still haven't subbed Brotherhood. I always download Brohood to my PC for the quality, and I can do that cos it's weekly, but damn it's been like 3 days now! I appreciate Eclipse's work, but they're called 'speedsubs' for a reason!

- I don't mind filler arcs aslong as they are interesting. G8 Filler in One Piece for example one of the best ive ever seen.
- If Kai had been done right then that issue would have been sorted.
- Not really condeming them just Narutos 2 years was just terrible. the storys were dreadful the animation was complete garbage, no idea what the Bleach fillers where like but i know not many people liked them. Where as OP/DB never had to put up with years of filler. Z as we know dragged on but OP does it right. and they are good at adding in material such as canon/filer. Cover storys and stuff that was mentioned is expanded apon to fill the episode.

Not so much bleach but i guess i do condem Naruto. whats worse is when people actually say they enjoyed it.

Just sticking up for one piece a lil bit, im on ep 277 and am not entirely sure if ive seen any fillers yet or not. I'm guessing the davey jones duel thing was a filler, but i enjoyed that except for like 1 or 2 episodes. So...

No point streaming when I'm gonna download it, and Eclipse do the best subs. A 'speedsub' group shouldn't take this long though.

For the record, Bleach has never had to put up with years of filler. I'm sure Naruto fillers haven't lasted nearly as long as a year either. The fact in the matter is a lot of series have fillers and they are almost always not up to the same standards as the canon story. Its useless saying this series is better than that series because it doesn't have as many fillers or whatever, because at the end of the day they still both have fillers which I'm sure most fans would rather do without. End of.

Davy back yes and no.. Boat Race, groggy Ball, Fight where the 3 in the manga. the rest where filler.

Davy back - Canon but few filler matches where made like the skating and dodgeball?

and you dont need to worry about filler until like 320 now i think.

Yea i just meant if your that eager to watch it just stream it to watch it but then you could alwaysdownload the Eclipse when its out.
