I get partly the same thing.. Except I don't want to make friends with them, because they're all stupid but they're all I have.

Same here, I don't want to make friends with most people, most of them are stupid anoying people. I got some mates, but I wouldn't trust them with personal secrets (if I had them) or personal items (bank pass and stuff like that).

Have you treid joining a group or sports team or something to do with something yourgood at? I don't feel that I have many friends at school, but when I joined a music group(called rockit. silly name. good group, run by the county thing), because I'm really into playing my flute and keyboard, I found loads of new friends, because musicy people were all into the same things I was, and so we all got along really easily, and now I have a whole group of friends out of shcool.

I get on with just about everyone in my year! lol I know everyone and I have like hundreds of really close mates, boys and girls! Of course, there is a couple of people who I hate though! lol

To be honest, I used to be a lot like you guys and never got invited out much or whatever, but I just decided to come out my shell, and instead of being all like 'OMG I'M WORRIED WHAT THEY WILL FINK OF ME IF I ACT LIKE DIS....' I was just myself! And I'm quite a loud person haha, but like I get on with just everyone and can talk to everyone easily.

I think you should honestly just start talking to people! It's really the easiest way, and it could maybe be difficult to make freinds out of school or that... so just be yourself and get talking to folk! ;p

One thing is to always be grateful for what you have. I've realised that. I used to feel the same way you do. But I realised it was better to have a few good friends then hanging out with a group of people you don't like. Trust me, the people here are childish and immature. :rolleyes:

I used to be like that cuz of my image.. but people eventually realised I was a nice person and started hanging around with me more.. Althought it did take about 2 years..

Those of us that go to public school do much more grown up things, like piggy back races. Bet you're jealous now, eh?! Sometimes when we're really excited we even do wheelbarrow races. Ooooh yeah.

I don't really have a problem in the friend department. I really think confidence is the key to making friends. If you're confident you will make friends.

I honestly know how you feel, but not personally. See im in a group of about 30 people who sit in this place, were not the top guns or the nerds but were the people everyone likes basically we got nerds, cool people and basically everyone comes round.

We do get nerds around from time to time, I like them, there cool, but lots of people dont. Its really depressing watching it happen.

But anyway, be yourself and when you do find someone to be your friend, they'll be your friend because of that and nothing else
