Do sit-ups every morning before you wake up.

Swimming is a great workout, it tones up all of your body and the water supports your body making it one of the safest exercises around. Cycling is good for toning up your legs, so go for a bike ride. You should also take a look at your diet, and cut back on snacks. If you feel like nibbling - chew gum. When I want to lose a bit of weight I eat a bowl of fruit and low fat yogurt for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and a smaller portion of whatever for tea. You don't need to starve yourself, just cut your portions down.

I agree, swimming deffinatly helps, i swam for 5 years, and even though im not doing lessons, im just doing public, i havnt swam for like a mont now, and my legs are still all toned and strong. Make yourself feel good, buy a smaller pair of jeans and hang them up, make it your goal to fit into them, and give yourself a target. Excercise doesnt have to be painful, you can run around playing hit or something (Lol!) go for a nice bikeride, chase after a pet in a feild or something, eat yoghurt aswell, its full of vitemens, and calcium and it doesnt taste bad either.

Go on a running machine, bike machine, cross trainer and rowing machine - will help you lose weight.
Then move ojnto weights if you want to build up muscle

Erm i was in a similar situation to you last summer. Well last easter i totally lost the plot and all i did was eat and i never went out and i had always been quite a chubby kid, but i was like 10 stone in easter 2005 and i knew i needed to do something about it. I didn't really have many friends back then so i just went out on my bike sometimes in the evening down the canal for a bit - but i didn't go mad with exercise. Also i was eating salads and stuff but i barely lost any weight. Then i started to hang out down a skate park type place, not doing much just getting out with some mates and that made me pre-occupied so i wasn't staying in getting bored and eating and from not eating that often and just going out and hanging out i lost like over a stone. Although it can backfire because i started to go a bit anorexic and i would only eat at like 11pm at night for a couple of weeks. Now i've put on a bit of weight again, infact now i weigh around 9.5-10 stone again, but now i'm much taller and i've got more muscle on me. I look more like a fit football player tham mr blobby now Anywayz less of my life story gl xx

Swimming and Jogging are probably the best two sports you can take part in, in order to lose weight... Both work the whole of your body.
But another important thing is the eating sensibly; 3 Meals a day, not exceeding the GDAs. If you are going to snack, make that snack something healthy.

Sorry that was a typo. It was supposed to say: Do sit-ups after you wake up every morning.
