Yes, but I wasn't talking about what you think, to be brutally honest. It is a forum, so I will respect your opinion, but I was talking about what is. I was talking about the Habbo Way as it stands.

I also took another look at the CFH tool.

Whether or not you think it is right to report someone for swearing, it is against the Habbo Way, and thus if someone is swearing, they can be banned for it. Especially in light of the recent article on bans, in the community section of the site.

When the Ignore tool was introduced, it was (as far as I could understand) never intended to replace bans for those who broke the Habbo Way. If you took the time to read the numerous guides that were in the newsletter about the Ignore button, it gave you a simple number of steps.
    1. Ignore the individual.
    2. Report the individual.

Two simple steps isn't hard - but now it seems they are wanting to take the second step out. I am asking why. Why remove the emphasis from reporting someone engaging in vulgarity when it is explicitly stated in the "About Bans" article published by the Hotel Manager?

To reiterate: regardless of opinion, it is against the Habbo Way to swear, and stated to be a bannable offence. But why decide that ignoring is a better option? Surely removing the 1 offender will prevent the other 24 people in the room from having the put him on ignore. What if they offender reloads the room? Ignore is a short term fix, but is not the solution. Even banning is a short term solution if they are a general griefer and use accounts purposefully for spamming in rooms, but it is more long term than Ignore.

Edit: I do understand that rather than "baiting" people into breaking the Habbo Way, just to get them banned, you should put them on Ignore. That is common sense which is to be emphasised by this new scheme. However, if someone breaks the Habbo Way in the first place, do you pretend they haven't done anything? It is almost hypocrytical if you look at the number of guides and articles that have been published over the past 4 years, relating to the Habbo Way and bans. If someone is breaking the Habbo Way, which Habbos (and quite possibly their parents) are aware of, why should it be a victim's responsibility to put the offender on Ignore? It should be the Moderator's responsibility to punish the offender. Why should someone leave a room because someone is griefing about them? Okay, let's put them on Ignore. Oh, and they decide to reload room over and over. If you are playing a game in a room, are you going to try and click on their name every time they load, just to click Ignore?

MODS are pathethic, I called 40 Times for help once - Yet ive had no answer to this day..

It even takes MODS forever to close Scripted Rooms.

Although ive noticed that when a Hate room is made about one of the Hotel Staff and its full, the MODS close and Ban that very quickly.
    I could not agree more.

Barmi I understand, I was just saying what I know. We have to report swearing non-stop in my help centre, and I agree with your opinion. But MODs get a lot of calls so they are telling people to use the Ignore

After you have sent the CFH about someone swearing the mod will send something like that back. The Mod will then take a look at the chat log to see on what level the swearing was. if its quite bad they will recive a ban, if not, maybe a warning and a user note added to there acount?

I understand what barmi is saying tho. if you swear = breaking the habbo way = 2 hour ban. that is what has been around since like day 1 on habbo.

I was in the WL yesterday and the usual afro guys where blocking. i know for a fact that LOADS of ppl sent CFHs and got that messege. and i came back a good 30min later, they where still there. so how is ignoring a blocker going to do anything??!! by ignoring them i cant sudenly walk through habbos =/

my sis waz being harassed so me and her both reported the harasser

    the mod replied to me

dont clog the report system or i will ban you and by the way just hit ignore

then i sent another 1 to them saying

is by pm and room chat and he keeps following her

    and i got the reply

never use this call for help again im far to busy for your childish behaviour i will ban you if i see you using this again

so i reported it to sulake who told me another email to send it to

which told me that habbo mods are fullly trained and quailified and to me to log off habbo if i didnt want my sis being harssed

    but oh well
