And I've Hurt Myself..
So basically what theyre saying there is no matter how much we swear and curse they wont ban us unless they catch us in the act as reporting us just gets the response to ignore them
I got a similar answer to this but it was rather snappy i must admit, think it was something like 'theres an ignore button you know'
Edit: I have a feeling this will get moved as the thread made by Greig, was, also going by his thread this looks like a frequent occurance, perhaps an auto response :s
Thats just lazy

Thats an automatic reply now, if you report anybody for avoiding the filter or swearing, etc.., than you will get that, basically like Nick said, they will only ban you if they catch you, because there to lazy to go through the logs.
All this is saying is that instead of clogging up the CFH system with Habbo´s being offensive. It´s easier just to click IGNORE. Habbo is basically trying to send the message accross that the IGNORE button isnt for show, use it.

A MOD with something wrong with its head. Probably.
Ah well, i used to think MODs were on my side, but now everytime someone cant take being kicked and floods the room with some sort of obscene comment i just have to click ignore
Why does the name "Dionysus" leap into my head whenever i look at that message...
Yes, but it is almost hypocrytical of the article recently published in the Community section about bans. As far as I can see, if someone is swearing and being offensive, you put that person on Ignore and report them. Swearing and being generally obscene is a bannable offense, so why send a reply telling people to just put them on ignore?
Yes, it's easier to tell everyone to put that person on Ignore, but why then say you ban people for swearing? I've seen a lot of complacency towards bans recently (i.e, "I don't need to stop swearing because I'm not going to be banned"), because MODs either seem to be:
a) Too linient.
b) Not applying punishment for the "lower priority" offences.
The Ignore button is supposed to be a short-term fix, until that person is banned, because it is understandable that CFHs can not be dealt with in an immediate frame of time. The Ignore button, however, should not replace the need to send a Call For Help. If someone has broken the Habbo Way, no matter how major or minor the offence, "put that Habbo on Ignore" should not be the only option. The Habbo Way is directly involved with the banning system. It is like the law is directly involved with criminals and punishment.
To reiterate: if MODs don't want the CFH system clogged up with "X is swearing/being racist", then they can do nothing about it, unless the Habbo Way is changed. Ignore is a quick fix, but the offending Habbo should still be reported, and still be punished for their actions.
Edit: Something I noticed whilst reading the message again, was that in sending that reply, the Moderator can not have banned the offending Habbo. "You can make offensive chat disappear" is hardly the solution. It is the Moderator's job to punish that Habbo for their actions. I do however, take into account that the offending Habbo may have been sent a warning.
