Yes but you must understand, in those experiment there were scientists and microphones all around to hear and detect the sound, what we are saying is that if there was nothing to detect the sound, how can you prove that it would? You can't, you can only predict.

Well, first of all, if you have two trees, both quite tall, and you put a microphone to one of them when they fall, you will hear it... Then you leave the other one to fall itself with no other microphone, it will still make a noise as because of the surface area it will land with a large bang. Nothing can be completely proven though, i mean, i was argueing recently with some of my friends about explaining the colour red, they were saying that we are brought up to know the colour red as people point it out, and me being the smart person i am  put forward the point that if you show someone a colour, thats what they think the colour will be the rest of there life.
Okay let me break it down a bit for you...
Say your friend pointed at a red car, and you had never seen the colour red before, if your friend says to you 'that is a red car' even although you are seeing the colour green, so you will think the rest of your life that the colour 'green' is the colour 'red' then we got to deep into things where it confuses you... The point i am trying to make is that nothing is impossible, but somethings are too hard, and to complicated, that the human mind cannot explain it...

well whatever It is more than a prediction that the tree will make a sound, if the tree fell, it moved which means sound.
