Fire Drills

Last year, we had two real fires (year 11s just having some fun) and then the fire alarm broke, so it would go on like 5 times a day.. It was very annoying. It goes ding-ding-ding-ding really fast and its really loud.

Our fire alarm is wierd, mainly because it sounds exactly like our school bell.
Our bell goes "beeep, beeep, beeep" And the fire alarm goes "beeep, beeep, bee-EEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP" For ages. Once it went off in Maths, and everyone thought it was the bell. then it started going "BEEPBEEPBEEP" and we were all like "***?"

Once in year eight someone spilt radioactive chemicals or something in the chemistry department, and the whole school had to be evacuated to the Sports Block! Thats was seriously cool - we missed four periods (and a break, grrr).

We get practice ones, but they're annoying. Me and my mates queued up for dinner the other day at school, we was just about to get served after queueing up for about 15 minutes and it went off. We was like FOR :rude: SAKE! Then when we came back in, we went to the front, then we got told to get to the back and queue up again. :rolleyes:

If there was a fire we wouldnt know what to do if we hadn't have had one recently as our procedures have been updated.

just run for the nearest fire exit what is there to procede

We have them once every few months or so. Our firealarm sounds really cool. It's like BEEEEEEEEEP. BEEEEEEEP. ''Attention please. Attention please. Please leave the building immediatley, by the nearest fire exit. Do not stop to collect personal belongings and do not use the lifts.'' BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. BEEEEEEEEEP. and then just repeats itself.

You know the moment it goes off because the first beep is always like an air-raid horn style.

I am sick of my fire alarm as it has went off at least 15 times in the past 3 months

Though last week we did have an actual fire for the fire alarm to be set off. Yet we got sent to class after it even though one part of the school was filled with smoke :rolleyes:
