Tell your friends where they can shove there status's. If you like him and he likes you go for it. Don't be pathetic and not get with someone u like just cos u think ur "mates" will laugh.
End of the day, your young, there young. Don't mean you HAVE to be immature.
Tell them ur doing wat u want to do not wat they want u to do.
If there genuine people theyl respect you for it and if there not then they aint worth your time.

If your mates laugh and fall out with you because of who you go out with then they are not really your friends, I understand its quite embarrasing :p but its life
