Ever notice the biggest industries on runescape is fishing, woodcutting, and somewhat mining?

Notice how its the same in the real world? Altough mining is in the decline. As is (I think) on runescape as mining doesnt benefit as many other skills as fishing and woodcutting does.

I know theres other ways of making cash but im now a wood cutter. Fishing is boring and really is no use and no excitment.
But with wood cutting you get evil tree spirits ( i know fishing you get troll )
But along with wc your axe breaks and you have to scramble to find the head of the axe before some1 else can see it and steals it.
Plus my favorite the bird nests got to love em

Fishing = Woodcutting
think,
Sharks sell 1k ea
Magics sell 1k ea
They're as good as each other

Sharks are 800-900ea
Magics are 1000-1200ea
But sharks are easier to get.

Mining benefits:
- Magic (Alching plates or other stuff)
- Range (Cannonballs ftw)
- Smithing
- Crafting (gold bars)
- Construction (sort of, you need steel bars for some furniture)
- Fighting monsters (when you're a low level though, make your own bronze and stuff)

Fishing benefits:
- Cooking
- Fighting monsters

Woodcutting benefits:
- Fletching
- Magic (Alching)
- Range (Make your own bows and arrows, but you also need smithing for that. )
- Firemaking
- Construction (make your own planks)

So mining benefits the most other skills. But the reason mining is in decline is because nobody can be bothered to keep clicking, fishing and woodcutting require a couple of clicks per invent, mining takes 28 clicks or more.
