Braces - How long do you have them on for :S

I have a retainer and have had for about a year, it was to move jew or somthing and now it has moved and is meeting with my top teeth i still have to have it for a few more months, and after that i need fixed braces.

It does vary. I had mine for 8 months.

It all depends on how bad your teeth are. Like if your teeth aren't that bad like just one gap then it could take a year. But it depends on what your dentist thinks. It's his decision. Each person varies because we all have different teeth.

Why would you want braces? Their very difficult to take care of. You have to use all this equipment to brush your teeth && if you don't brush them properly you will end up with a yellow rectangle on your teeth from the braces. Really, I wouldn't want them. Their very hard to care for. If you do get them waste of money unless you need them && good luck.
