80gb isnt out yet..apart from Japan, which you cant use over here, so go for the 60gb as its the highest one out in this country, or even europe....Well, everywhere but Japan really...

One last question.. is it possible to somehow convert the stuff in your PS2 memory card so that the PS3 can use it? Cause im in the middle of a PS2 game right now with all my memory saved in the PS2 memory card, and I wanna play the game on the PS3 but everything I have saved obviously is in the memory card.

80gb is much better, in the longrun, you can always buy cheap ps2 games if you cant afford ps3 games and it has a nice ammount of extra memory. I recomend 60gb in long term

I was going to wait until GTA4 to buy my PS3 but due to the problem playing ps2 games I think I have to buy one of the few remaining 60GB versions as they are not making them now No idea what they would do about it if I needed a new one on my warranty and 60gb are no longer available

Do you think their will be a disk for the 40gb ps3 that will run some sort of emulator to run ps2 games? its happened in the past on other formats.
