Kissing in public a criminal offence?

So you can arrest anyone under the age? Because surely you cannot take photos of two underaged citizens kissing because that'll be a violation of privacy and possibly will lead into some law about sexual pervertion.

It's a hard topic.
South Africa is filled with sexual predators so it will be a SLIGHT help.
But, on the other hand, Love can't be controlled by laws.

Hey there everyone.

Well a few weeks back, while watching the news I came across a new legislation South Africa has implemented. Now im not sure if this rule pertains to the UK aswel but I pretty much doubt it.

Basically if you are either 16 or under the age of 16, kissing in public can now get you arrested. Infact, even if you in your own home and get caught kissing when under this new age limit if someone chooses to report you, once again you can face criminal charges. I'm way past the age of 16 however, I can not really come to a solid conclusion on this for the youth. Problem? Solution?

My question is, how do you feel about this? Do you feel its violating a human right or do you think this new law will prevent rape and other acts of violence in a country, which is why this law was passed by the government in South Africa.
