    adding info: seems to be something to do with the IP, as when one is connected, the other cant - and 360 always fails the IP test..

    That's why your DHCP needs to be enabled. So that other devices can automatically be given an IP.

    edit; just looked back on posts, seems that it already is. :S

    Took you long enough to say

    Set the IP address settings to Auto in the Xbox settings, make sure the PPoE user name and password is blank on your Xbox. If the test fails after doing that you may have entered an IP address that is not part of the routers network.

    Also, who is your ISP?

    I have an idea. First of all I need to know if live works when just the 360 is plugged into the switch (do this and turn the switch off and on then try live). If it doesn't then my idea is obsolete so no point spending time making a post on it.
