If you plan on using Google Adsense I would read this before you do anything.

"Users should click on Google ads because they're interested in the services being advertised. Encouraging users to click on your Google ads, either directly or indirectly, can lead to inflated advertiser costs and can cause your account to be disabled."

Things like Source-Movies, Motionfrag, Youmeo, need a customized architecture of servers, but not your little project.. :|
Now you 2 have stopped banging on about the good ol pc days, time to get back on topic me thinks. 1 of those sites listed, needs a rack because of its immense connection usage. At 1 moment in time we have an average 420mbit consistant usage and around 28tb of bandwidth a month. Thats the sort of service you need a rack for, not free hosting/site hosting/small or low usage sites.

Either way, good luck with this project as I'm sorry to say I think you will need it. In all reality how long could you keep this going before you get other commitments or just get bored...

    www.fragme.co = a project.

I acctuly think that would be a pretty awsome idea i would donate to that.
Come on every differnt computer in my house and change all there ips and click the ads for you to.
Good luck for it and i would be willing to pitch in for you lucas.
I'll design a few layouts here and there in my spare time
With the peoples requested info on them.

"Colors, what they want the site to look like ect.."

Also i would throw a ad for your site up on mine.

    A rack?!

You can't think that big as you have no users or target audience and your website hasn't even started yet.

Where would you get that idea?
Picture this, you're not able to design or code layouts because you just don't know how, one day you visit google looking for "Free website templates" and the site "Yourfreewebsite - A whole website for free!" or something comes up, you'd click it wouldn't you. Now times that by how many people daily would search google for them specific search areas = big big userbase.

Picture this, you wouldn't be a top of google for a while!

And even if you did get a lot of "hits", you still wouldn't need a rack of storage space, just a lot of bandwidth.

Didn't say I'd be at the top of google but if the site takes off which you can almost guarantee it will then I'll definitely be in the top 5 pages under that specific search If I was to offer a sub-domain with hosting like piczo and freewebs do I would.

no, you wouldn't you network infrastructure imbosil. (Its a nice comment).

You would only ever need a dedicated box with a big hefty amount of bandwidth. Storage wont be an issue, and the sites won't be high system intensive.
