    Keeping in mind, network storage is a fair bit slower than direct connection, especially if the computer connected to it is connected via wifi.

    If you have a decent router and you're using a wired connection, I believe Ethernet is far quicker than USB 2.0, however any speed 'gained' will be lost as the HDD is USB 2.0 with a converter. NAS ftw!

    Could you get NAS? ofc you can, are you t alking about the converter thing posted above or actually new hard drive etc?

    Nah i want just a thing for my network to go into my harddrive well the external one. not another hard drive.
