
You will never be able to delete a file permantly without destroying your hard drive, no matter how you try, but heavily encrypting the files will mean u won't be able to access them tbh.

You can write 0s to the drive 7 times, that Government and U.S. Military standards for destroying data, you'd need some super laboratory to get it back then.

reformatting works, thats if you wanted to re-install windows though.
