Just like to put my poinion across of this this arcane spec **.

Currently 0/53/18 spec (Elemental)
This is literally the best spec I have tried.
It IS the best for single nuke bosses and AoE packs.

The only thing that restricts me is the tanks TPS.

I usually top about 8k on trash packs (longer AoE packs) This is gained by popping Combustion, Living Bomb, FlameStrike (Rank 9) Flamestrike (Rank 8) and then Blizzard. Wash, Rinse, Repeat and watch yourself fly up the Recount

As for single nuke bosses, its just so simple.

Combustion > LB > FFB
Lozre, you said stacking 3 Arcane Blasts and you might get an 8k crit with Barage.

Thats 7.5 seconds stacking with minimal damage then that bit of burst.
As for Elemenal, its Combustion (if its off cooldown) LB, FFB then Hotstreak! Thats a tidy Pyro crit if you've managed to keep a stack of your Combustion.

As you can see, the gear my lass has ain't brilliant, more or less heroic/10man gear (and a piece of t6 /facepalm) but I can still manage to put out 3.5-6k on boss fights.

Btw, before any of you decide to go Elemental spec, a good bit of crit is required (around 27%)
