yeah i believe they should just be put to death, no matter the age. I've been to visit someone in prison and he had a pool table, tv + got 3 meals a day. Alot more than some other people so where's the suffering in that?? If they know the consequence is gonna be death wouldn't they be more likely not to commit crimes?!

no. not because i believe its immoral, but because the system doesnt make sense.

1. you can kill one person and get the death penalty, but another person could kill a whole family and get life in prison. it all depends on how they're tried, but its completely inconsistant and stupid
2. a surprising amount of innocent people are put to death accidentally - and thats only that we know of. there's probably just as many cases that we never found out where an executed person was innocent (who investigates a case after the person is put to death, anyway?)

i dont care if a million guilty people are put to death, i think its completely unacceptable if even one innocent person is put to death. it doesnt make up for it.

I'm totally against the death penalty. I do however believe that if someone is given a life sentence, it should mean a life sentence. People should serve the sentence they're given. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime

btw, before anyone even tries this argument, the death penalty isnt a repellent of crime. people dont think they are going to get caught in the first place, so they arent scared to do a crime because they might get put to death.

Cos i dont believe in god really i dont believe that they would get any punishment in the after life

they get put to death painlessly and then there dead? its not really a punishment for alot of people
for alot of people who commit crimes like mass murder they prob wont giv 2 shizzes if they die.
for things like terrorism, well they believe that there commiting the terrorist attack for god and will be sent to the best heaven thing for doing what they did so they dnt care if there put to death

i think they should have other punishments like being locked in a box and put on a food and water drip so they stay alive but they cant ever eat food again and can only leave the box to go to the toilet

orr if there rapists or child abusers they should have there willys cut off and then they cant do it again and cant even get off over pictures or anything
