No, i believe in PROPER life sentences where it means they're there until they die. Not 25 years where it ends up being 2 years for killing like 10 people.

Sure, saves money and frees up prisons. You kill someone, you die.

In special cases it should be applied. Not for murder, but in the case of the Austrian incest man (you know who I mean), it should be allowed. There's not enough room to keep these *******s alive. Kill them.

No, because I think they should be made to suffer how the families suffer of victims of murder etc. With life sentences they suffer, and dont get it to an end straight away.

The thing is though, they don't suffer in prison.

I do believe in the death penalty... But only in extreme circumstances.

For one, they would have to have evidence making it 100% definate that they are guilty... And it would have to be a serious crime.

The reason I believe in it, is because so many people now kill others, get out in 20 years time, and kill again. If they were killed the first time, then it wouldn't be a problem. But it would only be for extreme crimes, and if it can be proved beyond any doubt.

Although I think life sentences would be a help, if they were actually for life. Plus... I think lie detectors and such should be used in some case, as they give a 97% correct reading. There would have to be other evidence, but this would help prevent guilty parties get off, due to circumstantial evidence, and lack of.
