What about having a upload form in the values panel but only allowing the images to be uploaded (so php ect... cannot be uploaded)
then having the dir habbox.com/rarevalues/images

If you must know - the RVM wasn't trusted. I never asked but I know that was the case with one of the RVM after me.

At Ross, from what I remember one is being integrated with the supposed new panel. A new panel has been promised since the first time I was manager in 2007, 2 years on it still hasn't been produced.

Panel's arnt that easy to create, surely it would be easier if Habbox just expanded their current panel, i dont see why its that hard, although they are wanting it for free i assume which is hard as Jin will have to get some PHP coders to help. but ye, a simple upload form which only allows images woulnt be bad on the other hand i know management will reply saying what if they upload porn ect... well thats just tough luck unfortually.

yeh, even if it was basic one not as if managers going to tr and exploit it or majority of them won't even know how...

If the RVM isn't trusted then with all due respect, why the hell was he hired, RV is supposed to be the biggest part of habbox (or atleast one of...) and it basically controls habbo UK's prices so if a untrustworthy manager is hired not exactly smart move is it.

Yeh but i dont think anyone wants the risk of leaving a huge exploit there, even if it is a manager not all managers can be trusted and this has been demonstrated various times, it doesnt take a brain box to go onto a "hacking" forum and find a PHP shell

Maybe that's what they are doing - I'm not 100% sure. From what I gather the HHGS panel is a lot easier but yet it allows you to do more than Habbox one. Surely the only person who knows the answer that is Dan and he has told me HHGS one is a lot better.

The Habbox one has many flaws and downfalls all of which are being addressed but a new panel has been promised so many times. There has to be a multi upload type thing integrated in and the managers have to be trusted. At the end of the day the manager could put porn on there at the moment if they wanted so that shouldn't be a reply to your point.

HHGS has 3 panels at the momment, I've seen both panels the Habbox one and the HHGS one, although i saw the Habbox one when Laurence (8f8) tried to sell me it , the HHGS one has quite alot although its not nas nicely laid out as the Habbox one and also have much diffrent features. Although the new HHGS panel which dan (test drove) is completely diffrent from any panel and it shows the values page then to change the value of a rare you click the rare or to move it around ect... But thats still in the creation and its up to Dan if he wants it.
Overall panels are just wicked !

I'll admit that I haven't really read the replies, just the OP and a few posts on the first page.

What we will probably do is allow managers to put up the UploadPicz image and ask them to immediately get an image to management to upload to Habbox for the moment. However it might be easier to just give them FTP to a rares directory because there's no increased danger...if they can add a new rare and make it display via an uploadpicz image, they could easily just upload a porn image on there. But there is the issue of hacking.

I think there will be a direct upload option without deletion in the new panel which hopefully will be here sooner rather than later, I do know that it's being worked on currently.

Why not make a new usergroup in uploadpicz then make permissions so the managers can't delete or over right images. then your sorted ?
