In my opinion, if you get your hair cut shorter you'll probably look older. That's what happened with me Had long hair like yours then got it chopped up short and made me look older, which is always a plus ;p
So yeah, I think you should get it cut up to around ear length and then straighten your hair (depending on how wavy/curly it is short) and maybe style yourself a fringe?
