Well sounds like Roxy has got it in hand then. They used to be advertised on the forum a good week before with titles like 'The Great Habbox Spring Giveaway Spectacular'. I do think this would be a huge benefit to increasing the forum numbers especially if events were planned for Habbos to go to after the gieveaways.

Events organisers do do their best to advertise habbox.com, habboxforum.com and habboxlive.com

whether they actually check out the sites is up to them, but as EOs we are surely doing as much as we can to advertise?
used to fix usertitles n stuff

Yeah that's the thing. Giveaways never are announced before and are announced literally just before they start. Also, the giveaways don't have a set time to finish meaning that if there is an event coming up surely the giveaway should stop to attract the users to the event?

Event Organisers should be doing it a lot more imo, and to be fair, I don't really see many EOs advertise, there is a sticky, if that. It tends to be other users who are advertising them, not the EOs. So I disagree with your post.

Glad there are a few events today, I remember a few months ago there were about 5 or 6 events in the last week, which was FANTASTIC, see if you can get back to that standard again! Still pleased that there are events most days though, although there was one week recently where that slipped.

Agree with all of that. The events team seem to be really well organised and very committed but perhaps have lost sight a bit of what they are actually supposed to be for which is advertising the site and forum. As far as the Giveaway is concerned there is nothing wrong with a timed one as the room can be locked before the event starts and a tele in the giveaway can transport habbos to it.

We try and advertise habboxlive and the forum as much as we can in our events, we have it on stickies and room description and shout it out every now and then (well i know i do) but sometimes its hard to remember to shout it out as well as keep on top of the game your hosting.

That's why it is always a good idea to do them in pairs so one can do the advertising. Usually though there are quite a few staff there.

If you mean the first week of may then I do blame myself because some how the events booking wasn't moved until I saw it still sat in management on the first of may. .
    Hi

Probably was, yes. Was disappointed when there weren't any events as I was pleased with the high standard before!
