    Default Habbox Events

I had a look at the Community Notice Board to see when events are on. There was 2 tonight (5pm and 8pm), 2 yesterday (4pm and 8 pm), 3 on 12th (4pm, 6pm, 8pm).

I am presuming each event lasts an hour.

I was thinking with the merge, maybe hire more events staff if possible and try and do a Games event every hour from 5pm - 10pm and ensure the room stays on top throughout. Its hard but I think it will be essential after the merge. In the room, advertise rare values, competitions and forums regularly (but especially the rare values).

This is because, when people join Habbo, they mainly use the Games room. How are they supposed to know about Habbox and its rare values? I know when I joined in late 2004, I had no clue which fansites existed. I know people used rare values but as I was new and a noob, people laughed when I asked where they get rare values from. I had to pay someone to tell me "/
Maybe I am the odd one out having to pay but the majority who join will not know about Habbox if a games room isnt on top regularly advertising rare values in the room.

Just an idea as it will be essential to advertise as much as possible after the merge - and Games rooms are the best way.

Thing is. When I go to events, it's ALL Habbox members already. Very rare there are new users and if they are they never seem to win and therefore don't sign up and because of this they don't begin to use the forum and it's all a little pointless. Saying that, it's the most improved department since I've been at Habbox. In 2006/2007 there wasn't even a guaranteed daily event and now there seems to be a couple per day.

There also needs to be very simple competitions such as Falling Furni, Races etc.

Roxy is going to lend me some furni (because I have literally NONE on Habbo lol) for a 'generic' events room, so I can hold events on Habbo. When I am not busy revising etc I am going to try and hold as many as events as possible randomly here and there. I'm not going to post them on the forum (at least not all of them) but I am going to just open them and try and get them popular the traditional way - have room visitors advertise it. Then hopefully we'll get more and more people who aren't just die hard Habboxers visiting.

Edit: and I can only really hold simple events so yeah

It's all well and good having non-stop events but when they're full of people that already use habbox where's it gonna get you.

People get board of stupid games like them, there is a million of them rooms. What would make them choose the Habbox room over another?

mocha theft is an awful game

how do you know that suarav? I wouldn't like falling furni, considering 80% of them are scams. Have been since like 2007. People are into more innovative games like... Multitasking and... Well, idk.
