I didnt say illegally, I said that most people who come here (especially concerning Eastern Europe) are on low wages.

I replied that most foreigners do work for lower wages therefore what Wig was saying is mainly true although again, he is generalising with both workers and the figure he gave. I am not disputing the minimum wage, i'm just saying that most foreigners work on low wages which i'm sure you'll agree with me on?

Quite a few from Poland do, yes. However, if businesses need just labour, why would they pay high wages when they can pay the minimum wage to a Polish person who is willing to work at that rate? I volunteered at a care home last year for several months and it was full of Polish nurses. I went to Nottingham for a week to volunteer at Vitalise and it was full of nurses from Poland.

I think it stems from slavery when people saw people of a different colour and assumed they weren't the same/human and exploited them for it. That's just black and white though, it's generally just because people aren't comfortable with people that are different.

Back on topic, I agree its due to the slavery. Some people think they are better than brown people because their own English is better or just because they are white.
I know several reasons why some Muslims dislike white people but I wont state them on the forum. Hitman knows what they are as we had a good discussion via PM.
