Considering sulake just had a record breaking year or whatever, they can quite happily afford to hire some mods who actually CARE about habbo and not just look for the easy, cheap and quite frankly stupid option.

To be fair some mods get it right when i need them. However its not that much better than 50/50 which is still not very acceptable.

Saying a mod gets thousands of messages a day and has to prioritise is no excuse. Sulake has just had a record breaking year in regards to profits, if they need more/better class mods, then they have no excuse to not hire them.

You didn't say what your Habbo name is. If you post that I can see what you reported and what action was taken

I have a massive complaint about the moderators. Now, nearly everyone on habbo will sympathise with me here. The Moderators are frankly useless. It's like they're only trained to send out prewritten messages telling you to put people you don't like on ignore. It really annoys me because today someone was advertising a retro, being the good citizen I am I reported them only to receive the reply.

''Please use the ignore button to filter out chat you would rather not see!''

This made me really annoyed, this person was still flooding the room advertising a habbo retro with links, so I reported him again.

I received a reply ''Thanks, we are investigating this report now'' Finally, we're getting somewhere I thought. Then about 1 minute later I recieved the reply ''You're problem has been dealt with, please remember to use the ignore button to filter out chat you would rather see'

This person WAS STILL advertising a retro so for a final time I decided to try and report them again perhaps this time getting a moderator who might do somtehing. but no, I got the same reply as first time so i thought well if habbo arn't going to deal with it, then how can they complain about retros.

Then I realised someone had made me a scam room, I don't know why as I never scam so I decide to report it. Again I get the reply telling me to use the ignore button. so I reported it again and wrote 'please dont tell me to use the ignore button as this will clearly not solve my problem'' yet i get the same reply and I still have the scam room.

Now, I can name many other times when this has happened, for example when people were being sexually explicit, scamming etc. Now I'm not usually a grass but if I don't like someone I'll report them.

Now I want to know why moderators are allowed to give such appaling 'moderation' if it can even be called that. People with genuine reasons to be banned are getting away and people with no genuine reasons are being banned. Clearly this can't stay the same as I know it is not only damaging Habbo and Sulakes reputation but it is also causing many users to stop playing. Habbo really doesn't care about the players anymore and its all about money money money. Before anyone says that it's a business and its main aim is to make money, well yes, but businesses have to care about the service they give and shouldn't get away with such appaling standards!

I hope Redtiz reads this and gives lets us know if anything will be happening as I know that most of you will agree with me when I say that this really is getting out of hand.

I think it's just his forum name. His forum profile says he likes Gabriella Cilmi and I think he has it in his tags.

Fearing for a teenager's well-being, that is, safe from paedophiles, shouldn't be the #1 priority for every day when there isn't a high chance of a hourly paedophile attack. Although the danger is very real, users who do have common sense should also be protected from theft, and be provided a service where they know non-sexual attacks are also protected against - their furniture, what they actually buy so that Habbo keeps going, bullying and so forth. If Habbo only care about paedophiles then they should probably close down, it's ruining the experience for a majority of their customers.
I realise that it is a rarer danger than the scamming type of report, but the 'no-ones life is in danger-excuse' comment was certainly a silly one nevertheless.

Habbo shouldn't only care about paedophiles but, naturally it is the biggest risk on habbo and to its users. Like any other place/site with vulnerable people it SHOULD be their number one priority and is ALWAYS a risk, saying its not the their no1 priority day to day is absurd. Im sure habbo realise the repercussions of national news stories of dangerous adults meeting with children from their site on both moral grounds and the damage it would do to business. I'm not saying its their only priority and its not what mods look for 24/7 but virtual furniture theft is hardly comparable.

Habbo has been known for years to be crap on the customer care front and is happy once they've got your money, but thats also 50% + of businesses way of doing things. They should do something about it, but they know how many teenagers they have hooked on it.

Hobbas cared! and so did the old MODs. I remember when they actually occasionally came to the room to help with calls!

Ah yeah I remember that, especially Hobbas who were Moderators! I did wonder why they never came in the room - even just to show their faces. I guess maybe it isn't allowed now, makes it harder to find the Moderators name and try and hack them.
