If you would care to do a bit of searching you would find numerous threads on the topics I have mentioned above and you would see that most of the time they're posted in the wrong section, as I stated. Moderators, especially of Discuss Anything, need to look out for entertainment topics and move them accordingly. They haven't been doing that, which is why the other entertainmen section looks bare despite entertainment being quite widely discussed. There was a thread created on Hitler's book not one hour ago in Dicuss Anything that belongs in the Other Entertainment section.

Also, have you even looked at the other entertainment section lately? Two new threads about books were posted in the last two days. So much for never.

Although it isn't as popular as it used to be, imagine having ALL those merged with the anime stuff as well as all the jokes. The difference is, more than four people actually care about the sport and jokes forumm.

No offence, but it is true. People would not post in the anime thread unless they have a serious interest in it - otherwise they will just get constantly infracted and eventually banned. It isn't about how many people use a forum, it is the fact that there is ONE thread that is posted in for Anime, and two other threads in the past month or so about books - that to me does not warrant an entire forum.

Yeah, I guess no one talks about anime, huh. Just like the sports section, the anime section once thrived. Actually search and use your eyes before making baseless remarks.

Also, doesn't matter who or how many people care about the anime section, jokes section or the sports section. All I am saying is if they want to do things proper, sports and jokes belong under other entertainment, just as anime does. What's your beef, bro.

To he honest, I think your just kidding yourself. Lets face it, the amount of threads posted in the discuss anything forum that are in the wrong section, are not exactly going to make the other entertainment forum look any less bare than it already is if they are moved to the appropriate place. The only conclusion this leads to is the fact that habbox forum users do not have enough interest in anime or books to have an entire section dedicated to them.

One of those threads about books was originally posted in discuss anything and with that thread about Hitlers book also being posted there as well, it just goes to shows how much the other entertainment forum is overlooked.

Okay so it did have lots of posts at one point, but that was then and this is now. It works in exactly the same way as the runescape section. What was once a booming forum for made into a sub-forum because it had little interest, but was then recently brought back because the activity within the forum pickup up enough that it became appropriate for it to be moved back to it's own forum.

The length of the forum index is no longer a problem.

Your right, the length of the forum index page isn't even a problem. Thats beside the point though. What is the need of having an entire section dedicated to subjects that have little interest? All of those threads have somewhere else that they would fit into just as equally. E.g.1 All anime discussion to Tv & Films. E.g.2 All book discussion to discuss anything.

And you can come to that conclusion how? I take it you're an omnipotent being and know exactly what the section would look like if every entertainment thread was moved to it's correct location without actually doing such, huh? And you have the nerve to say I am kidding myself.

Yes, the other entertainment section is overlooked. That's precisely my point. Numerous threads around the forum could fit nicely in there, but they're posted elsewhere and just left. Oh and thanks for posting about Runescape, that just goes to show that even though a section might not be active at one point, it can be at the next. Anime and other entertainment thrived, there's no reason it can't thrive once more. I really don't understand the hostility towards it. There are sections that get less posts than it and sections that are more niche, hell even sections that fit in the other entertainment section, yet you want it removed and simply to make the forum look tidier? Or because 'you can post about it elsewhere'... In that case why don't we remove every section besides discuss anything and spam. What's your beef?

So are you saying that the majority of threads in the entertainment forum and the discuss anything forum are in the wrong section and should be moved to the other entertainment section? Hmm.

Yes, the other entertainment section is overlooked. That's precisely my point. Numerous threads around the forum could fit nicely in there, but they're posted elsewhere and just left.
They are overlooked because there is not enough interest in those specific topics, not because threads are in the wrong place.

As it stands though, there are only about 4 or 5 people that post in the anime thread, and a total of 5 threads that have had recent replies. You can not say that is enough to keep an entire section.

The forum is posted in daily - it's enough for it to stay

People have little interest in sports on this forum these days, want to do away with that, too? The same goes for jokes. What about the old forum games section? Or debates that have ended? You can't post in them, why are they still around? What about elite alterations? No one has posted in there for nearly two weeks, that could just become a part of the main website. No one posts much in the Nintendo section these days - shall we destroy it? There are tumbleweeds blowing by in the members debates section.

All of those sections mentioned above aren't as active as what appears to be the accepted standard of yours. Some of them could be done away with and no one would notice, others could be merged elsewhere. Why do that, though? They're not doing anyone harm and there are a select few who still like to either post in them or glance over them. The fact of the matter is that there is clearly a select few people on this forum who adore anime and who love posting about it. The section, whether it is active at the moment or not, clearly has the potential to cater for a large number of threads and topics. If there was a good reason to remove it, then I would be with you, but there just simply isn't. You want to remove simply because it can be posted about elsewhere, what's that about? Then what should happen to all of the other quieter sections mentioned above?

I ask again, what's your beef?

Why can't I say that? I didn't know there was a rule on this forum stating that every section must retain a set amount of threads and constant discussion.

More often than not it's the single anime discussion thread that is posted in daily. It's just coincidence that there have been a few more threads on books posted. :L

I dont see what the problem is though, your all acting like you would never be able to see the anime thread again, when in actual fact it would just be in a different forum where you could continue posting as usual.

Seems like it wont be going anywhere very soon though, so I spend anymore time arguing my point.
