Habboxlive suggestion

For 1) this is against any Habbo legalization with "Webcamers"
2) No DJ is going to want to go on cam whilst DJING, DJing is what we do not strip shows!

I don't think this will be happening anytime soon and I don't hope it will the radio may have it's downs and ups but over all the dept. and it's stable community are nice how it is why change the radio as we know it into some virtual electronic fakery.

I'm just brain storming here & this could be a complete flop but then again it could work. I was watching a few livestreams on twitch.tv the other day and I realized how popular some of the streams are, obviously viewer rating will vary depending on your personality & the game you play. Anyway, I was browsing through the games directory and just out of curiosity I typed in habbo and surprisingly they actually have a directory for habbo streams, there isn't any habbo livestreams currently but surely if there's a directory for it twitch believe the game could bring in a fair amount of viewers.

The radio is dying, it has been for a long time & sure you can try to continue to encourage staff to come up with unique ideas but the reality is, after six or so years there's only so much you can come up with. Personally I think trying something along these lines may open many new doors. I'm sure there's some aspects of this that'll be flawed but there's always trial and error.

I don't know what it is that keeps people so zoned into streams, heck I don't even know why I watch them. It sounds a bit strange saying you can stream habbo partys / events etc but if you can stream runescape, you can stream anything. Those who play runescape will know how boring it is to string millions of yew longs in the game & if people watch that then they could be entertained by watching paint dry.. or watching few people doing the pogo mogo in a party room..

The stream is basically the radio plus other features.

Some things you can do:

• Still play music using Sam Broadcaster
• Stream your screen / habbo / djing software
• DJ says / other comments can be displayed on video
• The use of webcams if djs wanted to do challenges with one another etc
• Twitch don't have any rules about streaming music so if PPLUK ever go back onto habbox, you'd be safe.

Those are just off the top of my head. There's just so many more opportunities that the radio can't offer. If people don't want to watch, they can still listen. I think it'd be hilarious to have something like internet innuendo bingo with older presenters / those who feel confident enough to do it or something like that in general, maybe as a weekly thing? it'd be far more interesting than listening to someone tell me the name of every other song.

I know there's flaws but it could always be tested weekly by management or something, see how it goes. I dunno, I just thought I'd suggest this as its a bit sad seeing it all go down the loo (no offence to current staff). Good luck with it anyway.

Has nobody actually read my first post or did you all just see 'webcam' and think 'no, no, no' I'm saying you CAN go on webcam, as in the software allows you to & I gave a suggestion about when the webcam may come in use if habboxlive wanted to use them but there's plenty more ideas in this suggestion than just 'LETS GET WEBCAMS AND GET MORE LISTENERS' that's not what I'm saying.

Its all depends on certain factors, the DJ being primary the software quality etc. As good as that idea is, I think Sulake will have something to say about it. If not then the Habbox haters will use it as an excuse to report habbox to Sulake! Streams are actually quite cool, and I would probably watch them if there was an interesting DJ on.


Streams are strangly entertaining, but I only watch Youtuber streams.

If Habboxlive started having spam giveaways that would be the dog crap on the tombstone. The only reason I listen to Habbox over the other big fansites is because some of the DJ's are on the radio because they arent always licking behinds





My name is Jazz hi, it was me, logan, kristina and emma till everyone got fired or resigned etc.
I would like to see the vault back, but not as wired up as @ilogan made it (I spent one day stacking over 300 wired furni's, because logan didnt want his weave getting dislodged). I was talking to jade a couple of days ago about another event similar to the vault where we could incorporate the vault into a 7 seven 'gameshow' but I never got to explain it through because of yet another hxl argument.

Its sad to see that HabboxLive is dropping slightly off the radar, a lot of the other fansites are doing these very good radio events and have a good on-client event basis to go with it. I've gotta say, that I have lost some respect for the department since I left its opened my eyes and everytime I make any kind of suggestion or comment about the department I get the little lap dogs yapping and biting my ankles.

I'll comment later when I'm not trying to multi-task, but this sums it up.

Adzeh did The Vault before wired was even thought of and it bagged listeners. I mean the 'Dance Show' is great but it doesn't compare to shows that can take HxL higher like The Vault or shows that have a topic and are different from "my name is DJ Balls and the next song is balls. So that song was balls, let's play some Abba in the mix" etc.

Although the management structure of radio needs to change as well, you need timezone managers nowadays. Before I thought that was stupid, but if a manager cannot commit as fully or get Habbox as a brand out before, then there need to be structural changes.

I think some kind of high stakes gameshow would work on Habboxlive, like the Vault. It could be anything really. But it does need to happen.

I have to say, I was getting very confused that people were going on about webcams not being allowed / dubious when its hardly the main attraction in the first place.

i mentioned this in a spam thread that habbox dies at night time and suggested this (see my sig lol)
habbox are going no where if they have just one manager running each department. you don't even need an assistant manager then if you have 2 or three managers for the different timezones

Yes that could be good but I don`t think this is considered needed at this point.

That's stupid. It's needed, we are not in 2007 anymore. All fansites have adapted; I loved it when I became International Manager, for I could finally focus outside of the UK timezone. Yet, that got changed. I wouldn't even advocate an Int. Manager, but rather one for all timezones.

Your comment is another classic example why HxL is going no-where. I was even considering rejoining for the summer, but why should I if the status quo is the way to go...

Because it is the worse department on Habbox. The majority of music is poor/old, at least half the DJ's sound like 10 year olds and I don't find any of the DJ's entertaining at all. There should be international radio managers so that it appeals to more people

Also the lack of events on habbo is one of many reasons why listeners are so low
