    I only read the Member Spotlight with buttons cos I noticed the CNB thread about it so it can work haha.
    As for writers posting the article as a thread on the forum for discussion, this has been happening for years. It's just not very consistent and tends to go through phases where it's done quite a bit and then not at all. Ripieno posted quite a few good ones back when she was staff, for instance. I can see the department is doing really well at the moment though

    Problem is, if you post the full articles here. Unless people are going to Habbox.com for the DJ shows, you're essentially wiping the articles section from Habbox.com. I guess its all about where you want to direct the traffic @Martin;

    can use same tactic as the main site, post part of it and say "Read more here."

    Can't you just take the main points from an article (like a teaser) that has been posted on habbox.com and make a thread. That way there's adequate amount of discussion that could be done on the forum, and if people want the full article, they can view it too.
    It's like a newspaper. They post a paragraph that sums up a whole page worth and they always post at the end, "for the full story, turn to page 40" or something like that.

    with the forum activity low though itd be nice to have the extra discussion
    articles will still get read on the site though and people may be tempted to stay tuned if they hear who is on air

    the thread that gets posted isnt a copy of the articles afaik its just a link to the thread and the banner n maybe a sentence/two so ppl still have to go onto the site to read it etc
    i guess thats something @Martin; needs to make sure that ppl always post a link and maybe a teaser/photos but no more
    thats why i said about the forum thread closing so people can reply but considering it'd be a burst in forum activity (especially with how many articles have been published recently) it should somewhat help bother forum and habbox.com i'd hope

    from people just posting links people still reply and they still get really good responses and thatll also push people to reply if theyre already on the site i'd hope
    in sams thread sam linked to the forum thread saying take part in a forum discussion here
    still got replies on habbox.com though sad ah nice i want orange blahblah

    but habbox.com still needs people going to it and right now for me at least there isn't a reason for me to go on. to be fair I read the article about buttons, that was good

    Can we all agree that this discussion is always going to be brought up at least 3-4 times a year?
    There are always some main points as to why the integration of habbox.com and bringing readers there is a struggle;
    • Too many tabs opened
    • moving away from the forum
    • person djing is unlikeable

    There's others, but when it boils down to it, I think those are the main reasons why this struggle to bring people from the forum to habbox.com is hard. I think the real focus is how do we get people to come and stay. What can habbox.com offer for viewers coming from the forum? I forget who had posted about this in other feedback threads in regards to integrating them but the forum wont let you actually host a panel for djing, or something like that...
    See, in all honesty- I'm surprised we don't have all of our URLs being directed to habbox.com to begin with and it becomes a launch pad. So if you type in habboxforum.com it directs you to habbox.com so that they (being everyone) has to touch base with the main habbox.com page.
