One thing I noticed was River saying "I hope my old man didn't see that" after shooting all of the Silents.

The only males there were the Doctor and Rory.. and incest is out of the question. I can only deduce river is indeed amy/rorys daughter.

she said "old fella". Which you would say about your boyfriend who is older than you?

Just started watching the latest eppy. Wish I hadn't, so late at night. This is pretty scary. LOL

The doctor has caused genocide before. Watch terror of the veroids with Colin Baker, his own people the timelords tried him for genocide. He doesn't like to kill, but he does so if he has to and has had to before.

We don't know everything about the silence, but they did somehow try to take control of the tardis and ended up exploding it (I wonder if they will reveal how). So obviously with a choice of have a race that could destroy the universe or not, the doctor would pick the later and has had to in the past.

As I've stated before, I think the whole as you call it, "Lost" like structure, works pretty good. I'm a fan of the original series, John Pertwee being a favourite doctor of mine, and while as a whole I prefer the classic series, I do think this series feels more real. In real life not everything gets settled straight away and things can come back to bite us from behind.

From what I've seen a lot of people are debating, speculating and so on on all the stuff that happened in the last episode, which to me makes it a success. Moffat want's people to talk about who. He could simply reveal everything and explain it all at once, but it would mean people wouldn't be talking about it as much trying to decipher it and it definitely would mean people didn't have stuff to wait for - From what I've seen if anything the spoilers have got people excited and are way looking forward to their reveal which ever episode it might be.

I'm surprised given the Doctor seems happy with himself. Usually a pacifist "war with words" character just lets the human race slaughter aliens. Yes, they'll be back, but as far he knows he's just murdered millions of aliens and he seems quite happy with himself.

I don't understand why the doctor complained about the doctor-donna committing genocide? They tried to destroy the whole of creation :S

Same with The Silence, they've caused another planet to flee.

only around 20 minutes to go woo, wonder what the hint will be assuming they do it again like in every other series (although the cracks werent really hints, more like a smack in the face)
