If your not hungry when it comes to dinner, don't eat it. Don't just eat because you think you have to to make you healthy!
Also, a common mistake dieters make is when it comes to eating, they might be an apple and a chocolate bar, and they think "Oh I should eat the apple" even though they want the chocolate bar. Feeding you body what it doesn't want will not fulfil your hungar, therefore you'll want something else to eat. FEED your body what it wants and when it wants. It can hard to stop eating when you don't need to, but before you have something to eat you need to get into the habit of saying to yourself, "Am I really hungry?"
And there is no such thing as a high metabolism or low, or whatever.
You do need to exercise and keep fit. Don't over-do exercise, do what you can but you should gradually increase.
At least SOMEONE makes sense. Also how the HELL does skipping breakfast make all the food you take in your body then turn to fat :S? WHAT ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT?Originally Posted by Sazzle

Skipping a meal is bad for you, as many people have said, get it into your thick head.
If you miss meals your body stores up more fat as the body can see the changes occuring.
If someone was actually hungry and they skipped a meal, then YES it would be bad for you.Originally Posted by Eckoh

But whats the point, say for e.g, eating your dinner if your not even hungry??!! There isn't a point! And if any excess fat is produced, burn it off! Get off you **** and do something!
You took it the wrong way when I said I skip meals, I only do it because I wasn't hungry. I sometime ate because I was bored, I then realised that and cut back. When I get up, Im not hungry, so why should you have to eat?
I don't see HOW that is wrong, but, by cutting back I lost weight. OBVIOUSLY you have to do daily exercise, how are you suppose to lose weight by just sitting there? If you did it wouldn't be alot anyway.
You don't need to diet unless you are unhealthy underweight. I suggest you take the BMI test, if it say you're a healthy weight.. don't diet. You don't NEED to especially at your age.
SORRY if I offended anyone with my comment I made about skipping meals, I just didn't word it properly.

Actually, a chocolate bar is made up of alot of sugar. (When your on a diet you want to avoid it -.-). When you eat something that is very sugary, it quicky goes into your blood stream. But then your body produces insulen and wipes out traces of sugar. Leaving you hungry again. What do you do? Maybe eat another chocolate bar? The cycle begins. Apples have natural sugar, but it isnt something bad like chocolate. Id rather choose the AppleOriginally Posted by Sazzle

Hmm.. I don't believe in dieting though, so I wouldn't want to avoid the chocolate bar.Originally Posted by meta1gearsold3

And the cycle your taking about, it's like your saying you could eat so many chocolate bars after each other, and not feel full or sick?
And to whoever's thread this is, the only reliable way to loose weight is to exercise and go to the gym. Most dieters think they can just eat healthy and thats it, but really the only successful way is to burn it off. And if some people don't like going to the gym or can't, maybe try them exercise videos?

There is such thing as a metabolism. :/
Don't cut out your favourite foods, just limit them, you're more likely to succeed that way.
I recommend you cut out carbohydrates and eat healthily, I've been doing so for the last 5 days and already lost 4 pounds.
What I ate today
- Breakfast: Scrambled egg, 2 tomatoes and some bacon.
- Lunch: Salad; Turkey slices, tomato, cucumber, lettace and feta cheese and a low fat yogurt.
- Dinner: Chicken Breast with the same salad I had at lunch but with peppers.
- Snacks: Banana and apple.
Eating three filling, healthy meals a day will keep your body satisfied, I find that it also stops me from eating any food nasties.

Sazzle, why would you eat everything your body wants? You body needs food, it's your mind that feels the want.
I'd like to have a tub of ice-cream for dinner, and kit-kats for breakfast, but I don't, because I know that's not what my body needs, it's what my mind wants.
Also, it is possible to just diet and lose weight, I go to the gym 3-4 times and week for an hour, but my mum is doing the same diet and still seeing results.
Yes, give yourself a treat, but don't eat chocolate bars all the time because you want them.
Practice what your preach Sazzle.
