1400 total and 70 combat.

120 combat and 700 total, thats not very good.

I think Total means more than combat, but thats just me

I dont think total lvl makes you "better" than someone.
What would you rather have:
Combat lvl 70 with 1400 total or combat 120 with 700 total?

Combat 70 with 1400, this way you can have more fun fishing and stuff.
If you're 120 with 700 you still have to go trough the noob stages of most skills.

Some skills are easiesr than others. eg my mate got 70-99 fletching in 6 days
