I have explained this before, it should be in a stickie somewhere. You can NEVER be banned for expressing your opinion, only fired when you are Habbox staff and you don't do it in the proper way.
I am very strict with that, the only way a Habbox staff member is allowed to criticise some part of Habbox is by sending a private message to a Manager in charge. I don't like this rule either, but I have no choice. The reason is that at Habbox there work a lot of (not always very mature) kids, which is normal as it is about Habbo, which is a teens website. When I would allow staff to criticise each other publicly, there would be huge arguments and fights between staff members. As soon as a moderator would post for example that he doesn't agree with how the Help Desk is run, HxHD staff would be offendend and start complaining about the moderation system, in stead of listening to the complaint and trying to learn from it in a mature way.
The only way to avoid these fights between staff members is to not allow them to criticise other parts of Habbox publicly. This is not necessary anyway, it's often more effective to send your complaint in a private message to a manager, or even to 8Freak8 or me then we will listen to it and if necessary do something with it.

The thing is, Habbox is a big place, as you know, look at the stats at the bottom of the forum. Now our aim is to try and make you all happy and want to use Habbox, if your a habbo user, we have Rare Values, Habbo News etc. If you like a website to be on in which you can chat to other members, then we have provided many forums for you in which to use.
Thing is, in order for both sides to get on we need rules, without rules in real life then I am pretty sure everything will be on fire, everyone would be being robbed. Rules aren't there to control you and turn you into droids, rules keep the peace. Break the rules and you face the concenquences that follow.
We, being the Habbox team, don't want you being harrassed while your online, this is why we don't allow things like MSN addresses to be given out, and for you to post your picture. If someone found you by the details you had given on this community and the pictures and the location details on where you live, then you were killed, who would be to blame? Habbox would be if the police found your details on here.

Just think, somewhere out there, you have forums in which you can do that. If you can't post without swearing then I think you have a problem, I will admit, yes I do swear, I swear on my MSN and in real life with my mates, when I am in an environment in which I cannot swear then I simply won't. It's not very hard.

I think that covered a lot of ground really, without offending anyone hopefully, but thats what I see and think when I see posts like this one.

First some comments in general. Many of you complain you can't express your opinion and feelings here, but I don't see anybody leaving, if you don't like it here, why don't you just leave and have fun on the other forums?
If you see staff swearing, spamming or breaking any other rule, report them, if you let them be they will never get fired and keep breaking rules. This way you can help to create a 'better' habbox.
I also haven't seen any people getting banned for expressing their opinions, as long as they kept it clean, you can express your opinions in many ways, some people unfortunatly break rules when they express their opinions and that is what gets them banned.

I'm a moderator and I've seen many people with too many or too large images in their signature. I have always pm'ed them before I reported them to a super mod, all those people have removed their image(s) and were (sometimes surprisingly) nice to me because I warned them.

You complain many staff members are getting fired every hour, but you also complain staff members aren't fired even when they break the rules. I think a lot of staff is getting fired because they break the rules, but you can't expect them to be fired straight away, if you report them they might get fired sooner so better people can be hired.

One last thing, there are over 18000 accounts on this forum, you don't think we check every account to see if we see somebody with a large signature image, if you'd report them you would make our job a lot easier.

Now some comments on what people have said.

I don't think giving more people the power to ban would solve the problem, I think a lot more people would be banned. Also, if a lot of moderators would be fired, most forums will become a big mess and unhandable.

So true, even though I don't think all members have read the rules if you look at the amount of people with signatures breaking the rules.

I'm sure i won't be the only one, But in my opinion, Habbox is well, Being pathetic. I mean come on, Staff fired nearly every hour, People being banned. Brandon was banned for putting "Hiet Smells", I mean come on? How sad, Have you seen Eckuii's sig? Nvrspk4 has put "Adi smell's" has anything happened? No. Also, Mods/Smods/Admins messing around with usernotes, Signatures,Profiles and numerous other things. I mean, Usernotes are there for a reason, Not to mess around with. Signatures are something someone has done, Then an admin/smod leave's something in there, You could atleast ask them to remove it before putting "Edited by [Username](Job): Don't have an image bigger than 700x150 in your sig", I mean, Atleast give them a chance. Also, I have personally noticed staff swearing,Spamming and other such things, But i won't name any names. Also, If your ever going to be an official fansite(Which probably won't happen because of the past), Then i advise you lighten up. I mean, Sure, You should be strict, But not this strict.

So that's what i personally think, And knowing this, I'll get banned.

But it's what i feel and believe.

    Thats Habbox for you! --
Getting banned for voicing your opinion!

Yes, this forum is corrupt in some but not many ways. Also the system where people get chosen to be moderators is really bad. They basically give it to anyone new or their friends unlike how they done it in the past. Where they asked people who were doing well on the forum, who shown maturity - knowledge - and self control. Yes and I do see how the "staff" are abusing the powers of this forum to better suit themselfs and not the others.

No you idiot read his thread, he says he does not ban people for giving opinions, unless they give an opinion in a rude way.
He then says if a staff member has a complaint with something they should PM there manager not make a post about it otherwise the people of that job will then gang up on what jobs he/she does and critize them.

See you can't even discuss something without swearing and calling Sierk stuck up, and stuck up wouldn't even be the right words  .
Some of you need to go and look up the word corrupt in your Junior School Dictionary.
