Here is the list of GDP per capita of the Richest countries worldwide.

Rank Country GDP - per capita
    1 Luxembourg $ 55,100
    2 Norway $ 37,800
    3 United States $ 37,800
    4 San Marino $ 34,600
    5 Switzerland $ 32,700
    6 Denmark $ 31,100
    7 Iceland $ 30,900
    8 Austria $ 30,000
    9 Canada $ 29,800
    10 Ireland $ 29,600
    11 Belgium $ 29,100
    12 Australia $ 29,000
    13 Netherlands $ 28,600
    14 Japan $ 28,200
    15 United Kingdom $ 27,700
    16 France $ 27,600
    17 Germany $ 27,600
    18 Finland $ 27,400
    19 Monaco $ 27,000
    20 Sweden $ 26,800
This is not very representative evidence - the reason that Luxembourg is at the top is that it's such a small country with only major cities, that the GDP is very large on average. In places like the United States, you get far more wealthy cities like New York, but then the average is brought down by the millions of smaller towns with very poor GDP.

they do all the jobs nobody wants to do so i see nothing wrong with it. if there was a huge number of keen british doctors im sure they would fill the hospitals but theres not. i think if we took away everyone that had foreign blood, i think there would be hardly anyone left.

True, but the point of posting that chart was to point out that the UK is not even close to being 3rd. So, even if you left Luxembourg out, the data would still prove my point. Most of the other countries are quite large (I don't know about San Marino), so this wouldnt make a great difference.

That's not true, luxemburg has lots of european institutes and 224 DIFFERENT banks from all over the world, that's why luxemburg is this rich, and america is spending to much money in war (well bush is) so that will take down their budget.

Basically, they come to our already over populated country, take the homes which we are short of, eat the food which people on our streets could have, use the fascilitys, buildings and other things that have taken us generations to develope.

If we keep letting people into britian we are going to turn into america but the difference is that we are a SMALL island which compairs as next to nothing with some countrys which means some people are gonna be forces out. And since the foregners are moving in guess who will move out :|

america dont let people in, there borders are tighter than ours.

People will only move in if there are jobs avilable, which there are, if people just wnat to go get a job easy with no competition, like some people want, all i think that would result in is teh job being at a sub stand class. Ifs theres competition people will work harder and it will over all benift the contry, so with it many of the people today may actaly be able to fafored a decent pention when there old, becuse at currnt levles all they can do is rase the working age in an ttempt to pay for them.

Didn't you read any of the previous posts. Britian is NOT an over populated country!
