    not really. people originally went to america for religious freedom, but that was the 16th and 17th centuries, not the 20th. the 20th was more about economic opportunities.

    I've seen more absurdly believed things before.

    Lots of Canadians will even throw a joke about us living in igloos. But there are seriously some Americans who actually believe we do live in igloos and all talk like loggers. Silly silly uneducated people!
