    i dont even know if america is in europe or not. im guessing its not. If not, then why did immigrants in the early 20th century flock to america?

    Seriously, why are you doing an assignment on something you don't even know about? haven't you learned about Europe and America? their positions in the world? They are in two totally different continents.

    No, America is not in the EU.

    Im doing an essay on why people believe the angel of the north is an amalgamation of the statue of liberty and the tyne bridge. Although we havent learnt about america (because we do art history) it plays a pretty big role in the essay. Now does anyone know why people flocked to america during the early 20th century?
