Just because you study that you do not know how the people would feel. I'm not very religious, although I believe in God and Jesus and if I saw a woman in a burka or niqab in a Church I would be annoyed and find it disrespectful. I'm sure regular Church goers wouldn't like it at all.

So you have answered your own question. It works both ways.

I'm just guessing that churchgoers wouldn't like it, not saying it for fact... whereas Oli said he KNOWS it wouldn't offend people... you can guess how people would feel but not full out know.

Well I think the answer is in some religions there is more tradition than others. Because Western Religions don't have so many traditions it doesn't follow that we should disrepect theirs. If we did I am sure they would and quite honestly this is a Daily Fail story that I am sure the woman got paid for handsomely. A big fuss over nothing. Mothers will be stopping their children wearing tea towels on their heads for Christmas nativity plays soon.

She's defiantly not a truant - it SHOULD be her choice if she wants to go to a Mosque or not, but unfortunately it's not.
She might not have wanted to go to a Mosque anyway, that school is foolish for making a Mosque visit compulsory.
I can see why the Muslims want her to wear a headscarf and that though, i go to church every now and then and i would be offended if a Muslim walked into a church with a Burqa on.
It's about respecting where you are, however i don't think visiting religious buildings of other faiths should be compulsory - i would refuse to go to a Mosque aswell.
And before somebody asks me questions with the crucifix sign on your body with your hands thing, im Protestant not Catholic so i don't know about that.

Well it's slightly different because it was in Italy but when my mum and dad went to the Sistine Chapel (which is a Christian place of Worship) they had to cover their arms and legs to get inside..
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.
