how can u not tell its vodka?

however my friends did that to another friend with weed. Gave him a normal cigarette and said it was weed, he smoked it and was like "THATS SOME GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD WEED" and then yeh....hilarity ensued.

I know placebo can work like that but actually thinking you're really pissed or really high is a total exaggeration

I debate the factual accuracy of these threads.

More to the point that Englands culture is so dull that the only culture it has left is socially dependent on alcohol, basically, we're ******s.

because sadly everyone is effected differently by alcohol and some things they do they wouldn't do if sober. However if that's the case (especially if they get violent) they should stay away from the stuff.

    Everyone reacts to alcohol differently.
not everyone will remember what they did, and not everyone will be able to control themselves entirely.
One of my friends had two drinks, just two. It was their first time drinking and the way they reacted was
absolutely mental, he couldn't remember where he was nor could he recognize anybody.
He tried multiple times to start a fight with one of his best friends for no reason at all,
the next day he was rather embarrassed as he remembered the night before.
Whilst my other friend managed to drink more than anyone whom was at the party and he had no problems at all. ( besides the slight tipsyness )

It does work though. There's an association in your brain where alcohol = drunk. If you believe you are drinking alcohol, your brain will react to the symptoms you have associated with alcohol.

There was an experiment carried out a few years back (was on TV the other day), where several uni students were taken to a bar and were told they were helping show their social interactions after drinking alcohol. Out of the 12 students, only 3 were served alcohol, yet the majority showed symptoms related to that of drinking alcohol.
