Also, lets not pretend new members not being 'accepted' in spam is a new thing..
New users have never been wanted in spam - so I don't think that is a reason for lower amount of posts.

Tell me how is spam any different to any other forum? I do not think they need to be accepted to 'post' anyway just not be put off from posting.

Spam has always had a fairly 'select' amount of people posting in it, whereas virtually anyone has always been able to post in the other forums. Whether people like it or not, that is where spam is different.

I still think a way to get post count higher would be to get DJs (picking on these staff, as to be honest they seem to be the worst at it) to actually post more than once a week. I know not all DJs are like this, but if being able to talk to your FAVOURITE HABBOXLIVE DJ on a FORUM WHERE YOU CAN HAVE PERSONAL CONVERSATIONS WITH THEM is not an incentive for newer habbo players to sign up, I don't know what is.
Comparing any forum to spam is a bit self explanatory really. Spam is generally where the older users who don't play Habbo go. So if a new member who is rather young and plays Habbo comes and posts you can imagine yourself how that will turn out - I'm not going to say I like it like that but I guess that's the flow around here and it has been for ages so there's no point in questioning it now.
lolwhat?Looking at the posting pattern of the last 4 years it goes like this:
January: Busy
February: Gets quieter
March: Usually quietest month of the year until the Easter Holidays (note: these are a lot later this year!!)
April: Usually picks up around Easter holidays (see above)
May: Posting usually stays consistent with April kinda time
June: Posting drops a little due to more nice weather & revision
July: Busiest month of the year.
August: Second busiest month of the year
September: Posting drops as people get back into routines and arent on HxF until 2am.
October: Posting increases a little bit
November: Consistent with October
December: Quieter.
The same pattern has been followed for the past 4 years and I think the same pattern will occur this year, however, HabboxForum was down for 1 week in March, if you take the average posts per week in March and add it to the monthly total, March 2011 was better than 2010.
It's spam, there's always been a community there that's separate from the other forums. 08 is a nice example of how some of us see spam. Everyone knew eachother, lots of drama between people, we had laughs etcetc. I guess alot of us are just used to it being like that and don't want it to change.
I think we could sort this out much easier if a spam department was set up and I was made Spam Representative. I'm sure we'd be able to communicate with the alien lifeforms known as spammigrants and sort something out
I am ALL for this Spam Council idea![]()

If the 'regulars' don't find it interesting they don't have to post. Spam has been closed down in the past
mainly because of bullying of the younger members. I am not saying that is what is happening now. With respect it isn't a 'special member's club' where your application for membership is vetted,
Sometimes it isn't about how old you are though? It's more about what you post. A fair few regular posters are 12-14
No, it isn't. But, with respect, suggesting spam has ANYTHING to do with people posting less is complete rubbish.Well it isn't meant to be an elitetist forum at all and anybody should be able to post there as they wish.

The topic has evolved - I did not suggest that spam has 'ANYTHING to do with people posting less'.
The post was highlighting that people should be able to post in any forum they want and be welcome there or at least not be put off posting there.
