I've just said in my last post that even if she has had her voice auto-tuned for the final product that they wouldn't have to do a lot of work on it, she doesn't sound much different from singing live to the tracks on the album. There are two different versions to the song, the one she preforms live and the album version.

I think that there actually is such a thing as decent lyrics and songs which mean something so therefore the points which I made aren't valid. If you actually listen to the lyrics of Adele's songs they actually mean something to her, the fact that she's obviously been heartbroken. There are loads of songs that get put into the charts with lyrics that mean **** all, it's stupid in my opinion. I've also not got a problem with you watching video's with people half naked, whatever floats your boat.

and yes there is such thing as decent lyrics and songs but there is no song that has FACTUALLY decent lyricsand songs, it is subjective. so you saying that adele is a better lyricist than anyone is not correct. and adele's songs meaning that she is heartbroken is no different to ke$ha's songs meaning that she is pissed out of her mind. to quote you - whatever floats your boat. so you have no right to say that something deserves it's sales more than anyone else because a lot of effort and work goes into making any song.

i don't just like videos with people "half naked", if i'm looking for sexiness I will go and watch porn, I'm not going to rely on music videos. it's just that most videos by other mainstream videos are far more entertaining than adele walking down a ******* bridge. but obviously it is filled with such symbolism, meaning and depth right? i mean adele walking down a bridge in black and white is SOOOOO MEANINGFUL. a true artistic statement right there.

Just like I said before, many songs that get put into the charts have lyrics that mean **** all and at least she's singing about something that is relevant to her and has a video which backs it up. However, I'm not saying that every single artist is like this, there are some exceptions. I'm going to agree with you, maybe other video's by other mainstream artists are more entertaining than Adele. However, unlike you I don't watch her video's for the entertainment. I watch them for the fact that they mean something.

And I don't know where you got the idea that I think she deserves more sales, I've said nothing like that in any of the posts I've made.

It depends which way you look at it, it shows her emotion and during the ending she see's her ex-lover and it pretty much sums up the song..

Oh I get it, you're one of those people who bash mainstream pop music and try to make it look dumbed down and not credible, I see...

Actually, her lyrics are not any less meaningful than a lot of music in the charts. That's such an annoyingly typical view. And for the artists who do write music about them partying and drinking, that is still relevant to them, just as Adele's songs are relevant to her, so once again your point falls flat. The only way the video backs up anything about Adele is that her whole image is as dull as watching paint dry.

PLEASE tell me what Adele's videos for Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You "mean" then. And watching music videos and listening to music IS entertainment. You can be entertained by something with meaning... entertaining doesn't just mean comical or whatever it is you're suggesting.

Shot in Paris, the video is in black and white with Adele wandering around the deserted streets of the city. By doing this, it almost makes it seem like she's a ghost, haunting the lonely streets of Paris (which fittingly is the city of love). She appears completely invisible to everyone -- especially the man she most desperately wants to notice her again.

It fits the song very well. Anyway we all have different views on the video and I've said mine
